프렌즈 시즌4: 18화 영어 표현 soothes me, pick on someone

영어공부 하시나요? 저도 그렇습니다. 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 10회 시청을 목표로 8회 차 정주행 중입니다. 가장 먼저 무자막, 그다음엔 영어 자막, 그리고 영어 자막과 한국어 자막을 켜고 보다가, 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 처음에는  10회 차까지 반복하게 되면 무척 질릴 것이라고 생각했습니다. 분명 그런 시간이 있었지만, 이제는 정이 들어서 또 봐도 재밌고, 여전히 새롭게 보이는 부분이 있고, 시즌10이 끝나면 아쉽기도 합니다. 작별인사 하면서 울기도 몇 번 울었습니다. 이처럼 <프렌즈>와 코드가 어느 정도 맞고, 꼭 반복해서 봐야겠다는 의지가 충만합니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 4: 18화 "레이첼의 란제리 대소동" 줄거리 ▼

피비는 이복 동생 프랭크의 세쌍둥이 한명에게 이름을 지어달라는 부탁을 받습니다. 챈들러와 조이는 자신의 이름으로 하라며 경쟁을 벌입니다. 레이첼은 조슈아와 맛있는 식사를 하다 오리와 닭이 방해하는 바람에 흥이 깨집니다. 조슈아가 농장 조류 공포증이 있어서 그 둘은 자리를 옮겨서 조슈아의 부모님 집으로 갑니다. 그러나 예기치 않게 란제리 차림으로 조슈아의 부모님과 만나게 된 레이첼! 패션업계에서 일한다면서 능수능란하게 넘기는 모습이 아주 훌륭했습니다. ^^

Frank Jr. and Alice ask Phoebe to name one of their unborn triplets, which leads to Joey and Chandler competing to get her to choose their names. In the process, Joey argues that "Chandler" is a sissy name, prompting Chandler to consider changing his full name, though he has ulterior motives. Ross becomes paranoid when Emily and Carol's wife, Susan, spend time together in London, fearing that Susan would once again steal someone he loves. Rachel wears a revealing dress and an even sexier slip under it while dining with Joshua at his apartment, in hope of finally sleeping with him. However, her plans go awry when Joshua’s parents unexpectedly show up at the apartment.
