프렌즈 시즌7 : 10화 영어 표현 shake someone down, under the name

영어공부 하시나요? 저도 그렇습니다. 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 10회 시청을 목표로 8회 차 정주행 중입니다. 가장 먼저 무자막, 그다음엔 영어 자막, 그리고 영어 자막과 한국어 자막을 켜고 보다가, 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 구동사도 추가했지요. 처음에는 10회 차까지 반복하게 되면 무척 질릴 것이라고 생각했습니다. 분명 그런 시간이 있었지만, 이제는 정이 들어서 또 봐도 재밌고, 여전히 새롭게 보이는 부분이 있고, 시즌10이 끝나면 아쉽기도 합니다. 작별인사 하면서 울기도 몇 번 울었습니다. 이처럼 <프렌즈>와 코드가 어느 정도 맞고, 꼭 반복해서 봐야겠다는 의지가 충만합니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 7: 10화 "크리스마스 아르마딜로" 줄거리 ▼

크리스마스를 앞두고 모두 분주합니다. 로스는 아들 벤에게 하누카에 대해 가르쳐주고 싶어 합니다. 그러나 벤은 산타클로스에 더 관심이 있는 눈치입니다. 산타복장을 마련하지 못한 로스는 아쉬운대로 아르마딜로 복장을 하고 하누카에 대해 설명해줍니다. 그때, 어디선가 산타 복장을 빌려온 챈들러가 나타나 벤의 관심을 독차지합니다.

피비는 레이첼을 다시 룸메이트로 데려오기 위해, 조이에게 독특한 선물을 줍니다. 드럼이나 타란튤라를 줌으로써, 조이의 반응이 레이첼을 건드려서 자연스레 다시 피비와 룸메이트가 되길 바랬던 것입니다. 그러나 예상치 못하게 조이와 레이첼 둘 다 적응을 잘 하고, 피비는 솔직하게 이야기합니다.

Ross wants to introduce his half-Jewish son to Hanukkah, but the latter loves Christmas, so Ross decides to dress up as the "Holiday Armadillo" in order to get Ben excited about the festivities of Hanukkah. Phoebe’s and Rachel's apartment has been repaired, but Phoebe fears that Rachel prefers living at Joey's. In order to get Rachel to live with her again, Phoebe presents Joey with various gifts: a spider that scares Joey more than Rachel and a drum kit that annoys Monica.
