영어공부 하시나요? 저도 그렇습니다. 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 10회 시청을 목표로 10회 차 정주행 중입니다. 가장 먼저 무자막, 그다음엔 영어 자막, 그리고 영어 자막과 한국어 자막을 켜고 보다가, 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 구동사도 추가했지요. 처음에는 10회 차까지 반복하게 되면 무척 질릴 것이라고 생각했습니다. 분명 그런 시간이 있었지만, 이제는 정이 들어서 또 봐도 재밌고, 여전히 새롭게 보이는 부분이 있고, 시즌10이 끝나면 아쉽기도 합니다. 작별인사 하면서 울기도 몇 번 울었습니다. 이처럼 <프렌즈>와 코드가 어느 정도 맞고, 꼭 반복해서 봐야겠다는 의지가 충만합니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 9: 9화 "남자들의 저녁 식사" 줄거리 ▼
레이첼과 피비는 오랜만에 여자들의 밤을 즐기러 나가고, 마이크와 로스는 집에 남아서 서로 라거를 마시며 어울립니다. 하지만 금방 대화할 소재가 동이 나는게 문제였습니다. 레이첼은 충동적으로 다른 남자에게 자신의 번호를 남기고, 뒤늦게 수습을 하기 위해 마이크에게 전화를 대신 받아달라고 부탁합니다. 해서 다시 마이크와 로스는 같은 공간에 머물게 됩니다.
On a girls' night out with Phoebe, Rachel gives a guy her phone number, but instantly regrets it after realizing she would need to move on from Ross. Joey thinks Monica is having an affair when Chandler claims he needs to work, as he does not want to lie to Joey about wanting to spend time with Monica, rather than going to a game with him. While Phoebe and Rachel are out, Ross invites Mike to hang out, but as Mike doesn't want to talk about his divorce and Ross hasn't got his keyboards with him, they realize they have little in common.

We had so much fun. It felt so good to be out. (피비와 어땠냐는 로스의 물음에 대답하는 레이첼. 로스는 레이첼이 바에서 번호를 준 남자로부터 온 전화를 받은 이후였다)
