그레이스는 한동안 연락을 하지 않았던 오랜 친구들을 집으로 초대한다. 그리고 그동안 연락이 뜸해서 미안하다는 이야기를 꺼내고 친구들은 이미 과거의 일이라며 이해한다

Grace : Look, can I just say how sorry I am that I haven’t been more in touch? I feel terrible about it.

Janet: Oh, water under the bridge.

Mary: Oh, don’t give it a second thought.

Arlene: We could’ve done better, too.

*water under the bride: problems that someone has had in the past that they do not worry about because they happened a long time ago and cannot now be changed. 지금은 다 지난 일이야…^^

 

 

면허를 갱신해야하는 프랭키. 운전면허 시험에 연속으로 낙방한다. 아들 코요테는 암기 능력이 현저히 떨어진 프랭키의 모습이 예사롭지 않음을 눈치채고 버드에게 이야기를 한다

Coyote: Look, she’s already failed the test three times.

She’s studying like it’s the bar exam, but she’s not retaining anything.

It’s bad.

We should have a talk with her.

Bud : It puts a pit in my stomach, but I hear you.
