클로즈 이너프 시즌1: 4화 영어 표현 ditch, cling ,stifling

 애니메이션 <클로즈 이너프>는 30대 부부와 그들의 딸 캔디스, 그리고 함께 사는 이혼한 친구 부부의 일상을 담은 콘텐츠로, 실생활에 도움이 되는 표현이 많이 나올 것으로 기대가 됩니다. 매번 <프렌즈>를 보다가 갑자기 왜 애니메이션을 보는지 궁금하신 분들도 있을 겁니다. 당분간 리프레시할 겸 가볍게 골랐어요.  학습 방법은 간단합니다. 가장 먼저 영어 자막, 그리고 한영자막 동시에, 마지막으로 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 기록합다. 애니메니션의 장점은 재밌고, 짧다는 것인데요. 시청해보니 꽤나 표현이 쏠쏠합니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 공유합니다. :D

시즌 1: 4화 "골리기 전쟁/ 멋진 엄마 " 줄거리 ▼

장난치면서 놀자는 조시에게 모두의 반응은 냉담합니다. 조시의 장난은 회사에서, 집안에서, 그리고 끝을 모르고 지속됩니다. 조시의 장난으로 길거리에서 장난치는 청년이 두들겨 맞아 혼수상태가 되고, 경찰은 청년을 때린 에밀리와 브리저트를 과실치사 혐의로 입건합니다. 청년이 깨어나서 고소를 취하해야 두 사람이 감옥에서 풀려날 수 있는 상황이 됩니다. 어떻게 해결했을까요.

한편, 에밀리는 쿨한 엄마가 되기 위해 쿨한 엄마들의 리더, 조조와 어울립니다. 그녀의 양육법을 보면서 점점 쿨한 엄마가 되어가던 와중에 조조가 미아에게 레슬링을 가르치는 장소에 따라갑니다. 두 사람으로 팔씨름으로 한판 붙는데요. 결과는...?.

"Prank War": Wanting to relive his youth, Josh sets up a prank war with the roommates who are none too impressed. He ends up befriending a "bush guy" to scare Emily and Bridgette, but thinking that he is assaulting them, they beat him into a coma. The two are arrested and Josh must wake Bush Guy or else Emily and Bridgette get charged for manslaughter. Meanwhile, Alex gives Candice candy.

"Cool Moms": Mr. Campbell sets Emily up with the cool moms clique and she befriends their leader Jojo (voiced by Mo Collins). However, Jojo's style of teaching affects Emily and messes up her relationship with Candice. Meanwhile, Josh and Alex take Randy to a getaway to "rescue" his mom, Pearle.
