클로즈 이너프 시즌1 : 7화 영어 표현 stale, conjoin, assorted

애니메이션 <클로즈 이너프>는 30대 부부와 아이의 일상을 담은 콘텐츠로, 실생활에 도움이 되는 표현이 많이 나옵니다. 갑자기 왜 애니메이션을 보는지 궁금하신 분들도 있을 겁니다. 올해 10회 차 정주행 하기로 한 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 잠시 멈추고, 리프레시할 겸 가볍게 골랐습니다. 방법은 간단합니다. 가장 먼저 영어 자막, 그리고 한영자막 동시에, 마지막으로 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 애니메니션의 장점은 재밌고, 짧다는 것인데요. 시청해보니 꽤나 표현이 쏠쏠합니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 1: 7화 "첫 데이트/ 달팽이 괴물" 줄거리 ▼

브리지트는 이혼 후 첫 데이트를 론과 함께 합니다. 그러나 론은 혼자가 아니었습니다. 전 여자친구와 몸이 붙어서 나타났죠. 그 둘은 다음달에 몸을 분리하는 수술을 앞뒀고 몸은 붙어있지만 마음은 완전히 따로라고 합니다. 브리지트는 이혼한 전남편 알렉스를 바람잡이로 부릅니다. 의외로 알렉스가 론과 함께 온 여자 조이를 매우 마음에 들어하는 눈치입니다.

에밀리는 회사 일로 바쁩니다. 캔디스와 게임 한번 제대로 해 줄 시간이 없을 정도였습니다. 우연히 만난 달팽이가 모자의 마법을 알려줬고, 그 모자를 사용해서 짧은 시간 안에 많은 업무가 가능했습니다. 그리고 에밀리는 그 모자를 남용하게 됩니다....

"First Date": Bridgette goes on a date with a man who is conjoined to his ex and brings Alex along as her wingman, leading to some personal issues. Meanwhile, feeling that they have lost their "spice", Josh and Emily decide to recreate their first date at a haunted attraction that is all too real.

"Snailin' It": Emily does not have enough time to spend with Candice due to her job. 
A seemingly friendly snail allows her to use his magical time hat to get things done. 
Unfortunately, this causes her to rapidly age with every use and the snail tries to kidnap Candice. 
Elsewhere, Josh spends the day with Randy.
