클로즈 이너프 시즌2: 2화 영어 표현 stunned, binge, summon

30대 부부와 아이, 그리고 함께 사는 이혼한 커플의 일상을 그린 애니메이션 <클로즈 이너프> ! 재밌게 보고 있습니다. 시즌 1을 시청해보니 일상적인 에피소드가 많아서  실생활에 도움이 되는 표현이 많이 나왔습니다. 심지어는 시트콤 프렌즈에 대한 언급도 잠시 나오더라구요. 너무 웃겼습니다. 갑자기 왜 애니메이션을 보는지 궁금하신 분들도 있을 겁니다.  올해 10회 차 정주행 하기로 한 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 잠시 멈추고, 리프레시할 겸 가볍게 골랐습니다. 방법은 간단합니다. 가장 먼저 영어 자막, 그리고 한영자막 동시에, 마지막으로 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 2: 2화 "소스페이스/ 지옥에서 온 손님" 줄거리 ▼

캔디스는 드론을 사기 위해 친구와 함께 소스를 팔며 돈을 법니다. 장사가 잘돼서 드론도 살 수 있게 됐는데, 사업 확장에 욕심을 내다가 선생님에게 꼬리가 밟힙니다. 그리고 동업자 메디가 잡혀서 처벌을 받게 되던 찰나에 캔디스는 머리를 씁니다. 과연?

에밀리에게는 오랜 친구 베카가 있습니다. 오랜만에 연락와서 자기 이야기만 하는 베카. 신세를 좀 진다고 하더니 2주 넘게 에밀리네 집에서 안나갑니다. 설상가상으로 남자친구의 아이까지 임신해서 출산까지 하는데요. 그녀의 남자친구가 알고보니 악마..?

 

"Sauceface": In this parody of Mafia crime films like the 1983 version of Scarface and the 1990 film Goodfellas, Candice and her friend Maddie start an illegal hot sauce ring (after Mr. Campbell bans hot sauce from the school cafeteria) to raise money for remote-controlled drones.

"Houseguest from Hell": Emily is reunited with her obnoxious college friend Becca (voiced by Heidi Gardner), who ends up crashing at their apartment after breaking up with her latest boyfriend, Luc (voiced by Beck Bennett). Things get worse when Becca reveals that she's pregnant, is planning a home birth, and that the father of the unborn child is literally The Devil.
