클로즈 이너프 시즌 2: 8화 영어 표현 skethcy, stir up

30대 부부와 아이, 그리고 함께 사는 이혼한 커플의 일상을 그린 애니메이션 <클로즈 이너프> ! 재밌게 보고 있습니다. 시즌 1을 시청해보니 일상적인 에피소드가 많아서  실생활에 도움이 되는 표현이 많이 나왔습니다. 심지어는 시트콤 프렌즈에 대한 언급도 잠시 나오더라구요. 너무 웃겼습니다. 갑자기 왜 애니메이션을 보는지 궁금하신 분들도 있을 겁니다.  올해 10회 차 정주행 하기로 한 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 잠시 멈추고, 리프레시할 겸 가볍게 골랐습니다. 방법은 간단합니다. 가장 먼저 영어 자막, 그리고 한영자막 동시에, 마지막으로 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 2: 8화 "남자는 끝내줘!/ 비밀 친구 " 줄거리 ▼

신곡을 낸 에밀리와 브리지트는 펍에서 노래를 하지만 관객이 별로 없습니다. 그러던중 온라인에서 영상 조회수가 올라가고, 크로매니아에 국빈으로 초대를 받습니다. 알고보니 크로매니아는 여성을 억압하는 국가였고, 그곳에서 공연하던 두 사람은 변화의 바람을 일으킵니다.

모두의 삶에 폭풍우가 나타났을 때 말 한마리가 나타납니다. 과연 무슨 일이 있는걸까요?

"Men Rock!": Emily and Bridgette's new song "Men Rock" -- meant to be an ironic anthem about modern sexism and misogyny -- becomes a hit with an Eastern European dictator who sees the song as a celebration of sexual discrimination and oppression towards women.

"Secret Horse": On a day affected by California's Santa Ana winds, a fat, wall-eyed horse (named "Pickles" by Candice) escapes a farm and ends up at the duplex. He interacts with Candice, Josh, Bridgette, Alex, Randy, Pearle and Emily and gives each of them a moment of clarity.
