클로즈 이너프 시즌2: 6화 영어 표현 reminisce, emphasis, stitch

30대 부부와 아이, 그리고 함께 사는 이혼한 커플의 일상을 그린 애니메이션 <클로즈 이너프> ! 재밌게 보고 있습니다. 시즌 1을 시청해보니 일상적인 에피소드가 많아서  실생활에 도움이 되는 표현이 많이 나왔습니다. 심지어는 시트콤 프렌즈에 대한 언급도 잠시 나오더라구요. 너무 웃겼습니다. 갑자기 왜 애니메이션을 보는지 궁금하신 분들도 있을 겁니다.  올해 10회 차 정주행 하기로 한 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 잠시 멈추고, 리프레시할 겸 가볍게 골랐습니다. 방법은 간단합니다. 가장 먼저 영어 자막, 그리고 한영자막 동시에, 마지막으로 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 2: 6화 "타임 후지/ 세계 최고 선생님 " 줄거리 ▼

 브리지트와의 관계가 악화 되기만 하는 알렉스는 타임 머신 기능이 있는 술을 마시고 과거로 돌아갑니다. 과거 자신들을 말리면서 아예 자신이 브리지트를 만나지 않으면 모든 문제가 해결 될 것이라고 생각하게 됩니다. 그러나 브리지트의 만남으로 일어났던 기쁜 경험을 떠올리며 진정한 잘못은 자신에게 있었음을 깨닫게 됩니다. 캐모마일 유치원에 새로운 음악 선생님이 옵니다. 미스터 캠벨의 존재감을 압도하는 그녀로 인해 캠벨 선생님은 각오를 다잡습니다.

"Time Hooch": After Bridgette finds out that Alex never signed the divorce papers, he and Josh get drunk on some homemade moonshine the two made in college that gives them the power to time travel. Alex keeps going back to try and salvage his relationship with Bridgette, but ultimately decides to try and prevent himself from meeting her.

"World's Greatest Teacher": Mr. Campbell is upstaged by a more competent female teacher named River Lake who can sing and is better at interacting with the kids. Campbell's "World's Greatest Teacher" mug urges him to sabotage River, but she catches on and decides to toy with him leading to a sing-off.
