영어공부 하시나요? 저도 그렇습니다. 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 10회 시청을 목표로 10회 차 정주행 중입니다. 가장 먼저 무자막, 그다음엔 영어 자막, 그리고 영어 자막과 한국어 자막을 켜고 보다가, 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 처음에는 10회 차까지 반복하게 되면 무척 질릴 것이라고 생각했습니다. 분명 그런 시간이 있었지만, 이제는 정이 들어서 또 봐도 재밌고, 여전히 새롭게 보이는 부분이 있고, 시즌10이 끝나면 아쉽기도 합니다. 작별인사 하면서 울기도 몇 번 울었습니다. 이처럼 <프렌즈>와 코드가 어느 정도 맞고, 꼭 반복해서 봐야겠다는 의지가 충만합니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 3: 13화 "재회" 줄거리 ▼
모니카는 비디오 가게에서 우연히 리처드를 만나고 시시콜콜 이야기를 주고 받다가 다시 만남을 이어가게 됩니다. 피비가 데려온 남자친구는 캘리포니아 출신으로 짧은 반바지를 즐겨입는데, 바지 안에 속옷을 착용하지 않는게 문제였습니다. 커피하우스에서 친구들은 차례대로 그의 바짓속을 보게 되고, 대체 그에게 어떻게 얘기해주어야 할 지 피비는 난감해 합니다. 마침내 그에게 사실대로 털어놓으려던 찰나 건터도 그의 노팬티를 발견하고 그에게 주의를 줍니다. 조이는 샤이닝을 읽다가 무서운 부분이 나온다며 냉동고에 넣어두고, 이를 발견한 레이첼과 책 이야기를 하다가 작은 아씨들을 읽게 됩니다. 두 사람은 각자가 추천한 책에 빠져서 행복한 시간을 보내지만, 곧이어 스포일러 해버린 조이로 인해 신경전이 벌어집니다.
Monica's willpower is tested after running into Richard at the video store. The two decide to just be 'friends', but soon are more than that. Joey agrees to read Little Women while Rachel reads The Shining. Phoebe's athletic new boyfriend accidentally keeps exposing himself through his loose-fitting shorts.

Is it something I'm putting out there? 로버트가 자신이 자꾸 결별하는 이유를 모르겠다며 자신이 속을 너무 보이는 것인지 put out을 이야기한다. 여기서의 뜻은 내밀다의 뉘앙스로 쓰였다
