영어공부 하시나요? 저도 그렇습니다. 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 10회 시청을 목표로 8회 차 정주행 중입니다. 가장 먼저 무자막, 그다음엔 영어 자막, 그리고 영어 자막과 한국어 자막을 켜고 보다가, 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 처음에는 10회 차까지 반복하게 되면 무척 질릴 것이라고 생각했습니다. 분명 그런 시간이 있었지만, 이제는 정이 들어서 또 봐도 재밌고, 여전히 새롭게 보이는 부분이 있고, 시즌10이 끝나면 아쉽기도 합니다. 작별인사 하면서 울기도 몇 번 울었습니다. 이처럼 <프렌즈>와 코드가 어느 정도 맞고, 꼭 반복해서 봐야겠다는 의지가 충만합니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 3: 15화 " 위기의 로스와 레이첼 1부 " 줄거리 ▼
챈들러와 조이는 제록스걸에게 관심을 보이지만 막상 그녀가 재밌어하는 것은 로스였습니다. 로스는 레이첼과 기념일을 위해 야근하고 있는 레이첼의 사무실에 무작정 찾아갔다가 소란만 피우고 쫓겨납니다. 레이첼은 화가 나서 로스에게 따집니다. 두 사람은 서로에게 서운함을 토로하고 레이첼은 결국 휴식을 가지자고 제안합니다. 로스는 이를 잠시 화를 식힐 시간을 갖자는 걸로 알아들었지만 그게 아니라 관계에 있어 휴식을 가지는 것이라는 레이첼의 말에 화가나서 집을 나갑니다. 레이첼의 입으로 마크가 찾아오고, 화해의 메시지를 전하려던 로스는 마크의 목소리를 듣고 완전히 감정이 틀어집니다. 한편, 피비는 영어를 못하는 외교관을 만나 연애를 하는데 애로사항이 많습니다.
Chandler and Joey are both attracted to Chloe (Angela Featherstone), the girl who works at the copy center. Phoebe dates an East European diplomat whose interpreter accompanies them everywhere to translate. To gain some privacy, Phoebe fixes up Monica with the interpreter. She soon regrets it after the interpreter wants to spend all his time talking to Monica. Ross and Rachel's relationship is further strained when she has to work late on their one-year anniversary. Ross surprises her with a basket lunch, but she insists she is too busy. They later have a bitter fight with Rachel saying they need a break. Upset, Ross goes drinking with Joey and Chandler and ends up sleeping with Chloe.
