프렌즈 시즌7: 24화 영어 표현 perfect for each other, do you take each other?

영어공부 하시나요? 저도 그렇습니다. 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 10회 시청을 목표로 8회 차 정주행 중입니다. 가장 먼저 무자막, 그다음엔 영어 자막, 그리고 영어 자막과 한국어 자막을 켜고 보다가, 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 구동사도 추가했지요. 처음에는 10회 차까지 반복하게 되면 무척 질릴 것이라고 생각했습니다. 분명 그런 시간이 있었지만, 이제는 정이 들어서 또 봐도 재밌고, 여전히 새롭게 보이는 부분이 있고, 시즌10이 끝나면 아쉽기도 합니다. 작별인사 하면서 울기도 몇 번 울었습니다. 이처럼 <프렌즈>와 코드가 어느 정도 맞고, 꼭 반복해서 봐야겠다는 의지가 충만합니다. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 7: 24화 "결혼식 2부" 줄거리 ▼

사라진 챈들러를 그의 사무실에서 찾아내어, 예식장으로 데려오는데 성공한 친구들. 챈들러는 담배를 피우다 우연히 피비와 레이첼의 대화를 듣게 됩니다. 내용이 정말 뜻밖이었죠. 한편, 조이는 주례를 봐야하지만 영화 촬영이 지연되는 바람에 약간 늦게 예식에 도착하는데요. 설상가상으로 챈들러의 도주 일화까지 언급하면서, 이 사실을 모르고 있던 모니카는 깜짝 놀라게 됩니다.  과연 결혼식은 무사히 마무리 될 수 있을까요?

Joey gets an important role in a major movie about WWI, learns the art of enunciation (and therein spitting) from his famous co-star (Gary Oldman), and later discovers that he is supposed to work on the day of Monica’s and Chandler's wedding. Chandler's fear of commitment overwhelms him and he runs away before the wedding. Phoebe finds a positive pregnancy test in Monica's bathroom trash, and assumes it is Monica’s. Joey is relieved that he only has to shoot one scene before he can leave to officiate the wedding, but his co-star turns up drunk and ruins his chances of making it to the wedding on time. Chandler is eventually found hiding in his office, but disappears again upon overhearing Phoebe and Rachel discussing Monica's assumed pregnancy. Luckily, he turns up again and starts accepting that he is going to be a father. Joey arrives just in time to perform the ceremony while still wearing his WWI movie costume. Chandler and Monica finally become husband and wife while marrying to the tune of the song "Everlong" by Foo Fighters. At the end of the episode, Chandler announces to Monica that he knows about the baby. Monica is surprised and denies the fact that she is pregnant which brings up the question about who is. The camera then zooms into Rachel's face suggesting that the pregnancy test is hers.

Phoebe: Ross, you're tired.

Rachel: All right, I'll see you guys later.

how you're going to stall her?

Rachel: I don't know. I'll figure something out.
