프렌즈 시즌10 : 17화 영어표현 Should we get some coffee?

영어공부 하시나요? 저도 그렇습니다. 시트콤 <프렌즈>를 10회 시청을 목표로 10회 차 정주행 중입니다. 가장 먼저 무자막, 그다음엔 영어 자막, 그리고 영어 자막과 한국어 자막을 켜고 보다가, 쉐도잉 하면서 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있습니다. 구동사도 추가했지요. 처음에는 10회 차까지 반복하게 되면 무척 질릴 것이라고 생각했습니다. 분명 그런 시간이 있었지만, 이제는 정이 들어서 또 봐도 재밌고, 여전히 새롭게 보이는 부분이 있고, 시즌10이 끝나면 아쉽기도 합니다. 작별인사 하면서 울기도 몇 번 울었습니다. 이처럼 <프렌즈>와 코드가 어느 정도 맞고, 꼭 반복해서 봐야겠다는 의지가 충만합니다. 완주했다는게 믿기지가 않고요 이런 날이 오네요! 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유합니다. :)

시즌 10: 17화 "굿바이 프렌즈" 줄거리 ▼

레이첼은 파리로 가기위해 공항으로 떠나고, 몬들러 커플은 쌍둥이를 데려옵니다. 친구들의 10년을 마무리 짓는 시간입니다.

After having sex with Ross, Rachel says it was 'the perfect way to say goodbye', and he realizes he is still in love with her. Phoebe and Joey pack Monica and Chandler's belongings as the couple accompany Erica to the hospital. Ross and Phoebe race to the airport to tell Rachel of his feelings – but she gets on the plane anyway. Meanwhile, Erica gives birth to twins which Chandler and Monica name Jack and Erica. Still on the plane, contemplating Ross' plea, Rachel has a change of heart. She leaves the plane and goes to Ross' apartment to tell him that she loves him. After years of separation, the two finally get back together for good, saying "this is it", hinting they will marry after the series (which is further hinted at in the spin-off, Joey). Back in Monica's apartment, the friends turn in their keys and go out for their last cup of coffee together as a group. Finally, the series ends with the friends leaving and a camera panning the apartment and the city.

Monica: We got some time.

Rachel: Okay. Should we get some coffee?

Chandler: Sure. 
Where?
(유모차를 끌며 아파트를 나선다)

 

이 부분은 마지막 장면이라 넣어봤어요. 몇번을 다시 봐도 눈물이 나는 장면입니다. ㅠㅠ

 

You know what? Yeah, I do. I want to be together. (다시 레이첼과 함께하고 싶냐는 피비의 물음에 다시 레이첼과 함께하고 싶다는 로스)
Please stay with me. I am so in love with you. Please don't go. (공항에 쫓아가서 레이첼에게 고백하는 로스)
I got off the plane. (비행기에서 내려서 로스네 온 레이첼)
Okay. 'Cause this is where I want to be. Okay? No more messing around. (울먹이면서 로스에게 말하는 레이첼)
