시트콤 <프렌즈>로 영어공부 하신다고요? 저도 7회차 정주행하고 있습니다. 프렌즈는 좀 오래된 작품이지만, 아는 선생님이 이걸 10번 보고서 공부를 하셨다고 해서 저도 목표로 잡았습니다. 당연히 도움을 많이 받고 있습니다. 리스닝, 스피킹, 단어까지 다 찾아보고 공부하고 있거든요. 처음엔 지루하기도 했지만 이제는 친구들의 성격과 대략의 에피소드를 알고나니 친근해서 더욱 재밌어졌습니다. 반대로 울음도 자주 나구요. 아무튼 정이 많이든 시트콤입니다.
시즌 4: 9화 "광란의 파티" 줄거리 ▼
모니카와 피비는 출장 요리 비즈니스를 위해 밴을 장만합니다. 구매 보조 자리에 지원하려는 레이첼은 상사 조애나의 방해에 인터뷰를 망칩니다. 그만두겠다고 말하자 조애나는 레이첼을 뺏기기 싫어서 그랬다면서 그녀를 위한 새로운 자리를 만들어줍니다. 모니카는 알렉산드로에 대한 비평을 썼는데, 그를 본 알렉산드로 오너가 찾아와 실랑이를 합니다. 모니카가 만든 소스를 맛보더니 그녀를 셰프로 채용하게 됩니다. 피비는 출장 요리 일감을 얻어오는데, 모니카가 취직하여 함께 할 수 없다고 말하자 실망합니다. 챈들러와 로스의 간달프 파티가 취소되고, 조이의 제안으로 셋이서 함께 놉니다...^^
*파티가 취소되어 챈들러, 조이, 로스가 셋이서 놀았는데 지친 기색으로 커피 하우스 소파에 앉아있던 모습이 눈에 선하네요. 나이 때문일수도 있고 더이상 파티가 중요해지지 않은 걸수도 있죠. 제 경우는 워낙 파티 피플이 아니어서 진작에 집순이가 되긴 했네요.
Monica and Phoebe buy a tacky van for their new catering business, but plans are upended when Monica is offered the head chef job at “Alessandro's”, a restaurant that she recently trashed in a review for a neighbourhood paper. Rachel applies for an assistant buyer job in another Bloomingdale's department, only to be sabotaged during the interview by her boss, Joanna, who wants to keep Rachel as her assistant. Rachel confronts Joanna, who then offers to make her an assistant buyer in her department. Unfortunately, Joanna meets an untimely end before Rachel's promotion takes effect. Ross and Chandler are excited when their friend Mike 'Gandalf' Ganderson is coming to town to party all night. When Gandalf cancels at the last minute, Joey says they can still have a great time, though the guys get beaten down before the night ends.
