시트콤 <프렌즈>로 영어공부 하신다고요? 저도요. 7회차 정주행 중이에요. 처음엔 무자막으로, 그 다음엔 영어 자막으로, 그리고 영어 자막과 한국어 자막을 켜고 보다가, 쉐도잉을 하고, 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있어요.
이렇게 봐도 봐도 새롭게 보이는 부분과 배우는 부분이 있다는 게 놀랍기도 한데요. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유할게요. ^^

시즌 5: 5화 "비밀 데이트" 줄거리 ▼
에밀리가 뉴욕에 오는 대신 로스에게 레이첼을 다시 보지 않는 조건을 내걸었는데요. 가정을 지킬지 우정을 지킬지 고민하던 로스는 그 사실을 레이첼과 친구들에게 알립니다. 레이첼은 크게 실망하고, 이러다 자신도 친구들과의 사이가 멀어질지 고민까지 합니다. 모니카와 챈들러는 둘만의 비밀스런 데이트를 떠났다가 싸워서 돌아오는데요. 마침내 조이에게 그들의 관계를 들킵니다. 어떻게 되었을까요..^^

Ross tells Rachel that Emily does not want him to see her anymore. Rachel then worries she will be phased out of the group entirely, much like Chandler's old roommate, Kip, and seeks advice from Phoebe. Monica and Chandler sneak away for a weekend together and end up fighting. Joey eventually figures out the truth about their relationship, though they swear him to secrecy.

Rachel: Hi, guys.
What's going on?

Chandler: We're flipping Monica's mattress.

Joey: So I'm thinking, basically,
we pick it up, and then we flip it.

Phoebe: Yeah, that's better than my way.

a little easier for you.

Ross: What? What are you doing?

Rachel: Storming out.

Ross: Rachel, this is your apartment.

Rachel: Yeah, well that's how mad I am.
