프렌즈 시즌5: 6화 영어 표현 for crying out loud, don't get too attached, slip out

시트콤 <프렌즈>로 영어공부 하신다고요? 저도요.  7회차 정주행 중인데요. 처음엔 무자막, 그 다음엔 영어 자막, 그리고 영어 자막과 한국어 자막을 켜고 보다가, 쉐도잉, 어휘와 이디엄을 찾고 있어요.

이렇게 봐도 봐도 새롭게 보이는 부분도  있고, 아직도 배우는 부분이 있다는 게 놀랍기도 한데요. 서론은 줄이고, 공부하며 알게 된 어휘나 이디엄을 한 회당 3개 정도 공유할게요. ^^

시즌 5: 6화 "비밀 지키기" 줄거리 ▼

결혼 생활을 유지하고 싶은 로스는 에밀리를 위해 이사를 하고 친구들은 불만을 토로하죠. 모니카와 레이첼은 창고에서 와플 머신을 찾다가 정체불명의 털복숭이를 만나고 놀란 나머지 그를 향해 버그 스프레이를 발사합니다. 조이를 통해 그가 새로 이사 온 대니였다는 걸 알게된 두 사람은 사과하러 방문하는데, 영 반응이 시원치가 않습니다. 한편 챈들러와 모니카가 사귀는 것은 여전히 조이만이 알고 있어 입이 근질거려하는 에피소드 입니다. 로스의 결혼은 과연 유지가 될까요?...^^

Phoebe's mother sends her a fur coat, causing her to rethink her views. Emily's demands on Ross become more unreasonable, annoying his friends, and causing him to make a huge decision about his marriage. Monica and Rachel encounter what they think is a yeti man in the storage room leading to them fogging him with bug spray. Joey later explains that they fogged Danny, who just moved into their building. Rachel and Monica go to his apartment to apologize for fogging him, though he brushes them off.

Monica: God, I feel so guilty about Ross.

Phoebe: I know. 

Joey: I kind of feel like it's my fault.

Chandler: Kind of?
If you just kept this to yourself,
none of this would have happened.

Joey: Well, I'm keeping so many things
to myself these days 
something was bound to slip out.

 
Slip out:

Monica: How can you tell?

Joey: You can totally tell.
Here, look, watch me.

*don't get too attached: 너무 정붙이지 마. don't get too attached to 동사 로도 쓰인다.
God, I feel so guilty about Ross. (로스에 대해 죄책감을 느낀다는 모니카)
I kind of feel like it's my fault. (로스와의 다툼에 대해 자신의 잘못같다는 조이)
I made a snap judgement. (대니에게 찾아가 따지는 레이첼)
Who am I saying hello to? (전화로 방에 누가 있는지 묻는 에밀리)
